🎣RANGER RAYS Fish Report🎣Good afternoon everyone! Pictured above are some of the kids that showed up for the opening of our kids fishing pond! It was a fun time for the youth anglers! It is located on south east corner of Lake 5 by the walk in entrance off of Lake Canyon. It is now open for anyone under 12 years of age. There are catfish, bass, and bluegill mostly in the pond. The bass bite has slowed down a bit over the last week or two due to the heat but still some action. Definitely recommend targeting the early morning or late afternoon windows for the best results. Anglers have been seeing success with senkos, topwater baits, and jigs. We stocked Lakes 3 and 6 today with 500 lbs. of catfish each. The bite has been relatively consistent. The spike in heat recently has slowed things down a touch but there is still action if you get on it early in the morning or a little later in the day as the sun starts to drop. Anglers have seen the most success using stink bait, mackerel, shrimp, and nightcrawlers. ... See MoreSee Less
